MEETING WITH THE FAO DELEGATION
On 14 March 2024, SIC ICWC met representatives of the FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia.
From SIC ICWC, Deputy Directors Mr. Sherzod Muminov and Mr. Alisher Nazariy, as well as heads of divisions took part in the meeting. FAO was represented by Ms. Carolina Starr, agricultural officer and Mr. Daler Domullodjanov, water and land expert.
FAO representatives got acquainted with activities of SIC ICWC and its information products, in particular the CAWater-Info and modeling tools.
In the course of the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibilities of cooperation as part of the GEF-8 programme FAO's efforts in Uzbekistan.
